Emily Garthwaite is a London based photojournalist and street photographer with a focus on humanitarian and environmental stories. Her fearlessness & craft as a photographer fused with her sheer love of people has cemented her skill as one of the most important storytellers of her generation. Whether she is traveling through the Yayu Wildforest of Ethiopia to learn about coffee, touring the salt flats of Turda in the northwest of Romania, or documenting life in the refugee camps of Calais, her objective is the same to share people’s stories in the most honest and truthful way possible.
