Equal Lens is excited to announce that #SheTakesOver is back and launched for round 2. Once again we’ve partnered with adam&eveDDB, Free the Work, and the Alliance for Women Film Composers & Campaign magazine to showcase the work of all women/womxn creators, regardless of their background or how they identify.

 

NB: We have included the alternative spelling of ‘womxn’ to stand alongside the traditional spelling of ‘women’. Our aim is to acknowledge what the term ‘womxn’ represents for some – an intersectional approach that explicitly includes transgender women and nonbinary people. ‘womxn’ is pronounced the same as ‘women’.

 

For the month of March, adam&eveDDB and other creative agencies will be sharing creative work from 271 women/womxn photographers, directors, composers, illustrators & animators across multiple channels.

 

This year #SheTakesOver has created a new Instagram account @she.takes.over, which will become a lasting resource for diverse production talent.
